Search Engine Marketing Specialist

Position Requirements
  • Minimum 2 year experience in all facets of Search Engine Marketing.
  • Experience managing and optimizing Pay-Per-Click (PPC) engines like Google AdWords, YSM Overture and MSN AdCenter.
  • Knowledge in script validation using W3C standards an advantage
  • Experience with web analytics.
  • Experience in (Web usability and SEO-centric) copywriting an advantage.
  • Results oriented.
  • Above average command of English (both oral and written).
  • Expert level in HTML and CSS.
  • Experience in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, Javascript and Photoshop an advantage
  • Experience working with the High Risk Industry an advantage.
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Makati City.
  • PASSIONATE about the Internet, Search Engines, and web design.
  • Team player.
Job Responsibilities
  • Work with Program Manager in developing and continuously improving the Search Engine Marketing strategy/initiatives for each Zimplizity client.
  • Optimize websites.
  • Build link popularity of websites through directory submissions, forum postings, blog and ping, and other related initiatives.
  • Set up PPC campaigns (Google Yahoo and MSN).
  • Optimize PPC campaigns through positioning, keywords, landing pages.
  • Stay abreast of search engine marketing trends and approaches - be able to quickly integrate new methodologies into our online marketing mix.
  • Research and negotiate deals with target sites for banner ads and affiliate marketing programs.
Search Engine Marketing Associate / Web Applications Developer

Position Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science/IT, Others or equivalent
  • Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, Javascript and XHTML required
  • Experience in deploying a Content Management System (CMS)-related online application using MySQL as database required
  • Knowledge in basic SEO techniques an advantage
  • Knowledge in script validation using W3C standards an advantage
  • Knowledge in Photoshop and Graphic editing software an advantage
  • Active Blogger and other Community or social networks an advantage
Job Responsibilities
  • Support Search Engine Marketing team with any web design and application development needs such as WordPress, PHP BB, etc.
  • Link, Article, PR and Blog Submissions and research on possible relevant sites
  • Monitor Search Engine Marketing Initiatives such as link exchange, paid advertisements, and social networking initiatives
  • Provide regular project status updates to Search Engine Marketing Specialist
